My Story...

I was born in 1969 in Friona, Texas and grew up here and there in the panhandle, finally moving back to Friona and graduating from high school there. I attended Texas Tech University upon graduation and pursued my dreams of being an artist, majoring in Design Communication with an Illustration minor. (They didn't offer an Illustration major)

In 1992, I married the love of my life, Susie. She is a Friona graduate as well, and is now an extremely talented Cosmetologist as well as a Personal Trainer. Susie is my best friend and is the greatest inspiration in my life. We Live in Lubbock, Tx after a brief stint in Austin for about a year.

We have a beautiful Boxer named Rocky that thinks he is a human child. He is spoiled rotten and I really wouldn't have it any other way!

I have been through and have accomplished a lot in my life. I have a great family that always has supported me in whatever I have strived for. As far back as I can remember, I have wanted to be an artist. It is my passion and even if my path is lead elsewhere, I will always create art. It's too bad it doesn't pay a little more... hence the saying "Starving Artist?!?"

I am an AVID sports fan and love pretty much every sport there is. Whether it is Football (American), Ice hockey, English Premier League football (Soccer) or baseball; if there is a game on, I watch it. I am blessed to have a wife who is a huge sports fan as well, so I don't get razzed too much for always having games on. Sports art is where my main calling is at , and I hope to pursue this avenue to it's furthest. My favorite media's to work with are far and away graphite and colored pencil. I can do most media's.
